The aim of this work is to

Pharmaceutical Assistance (CEAF) on
the socio demographics, medication,
type of health care, as well as the health
services to which they are linked in
Florianópolis, discussing the strengths
and weaknesses of the health care
process for these users as recommended
on the care lines established in the
specific Clinical Protocol and
Therapeutic Guidelines (PCDT).
Method: It started searching for lipidlowering
users of CEAF in the
computerized system of management of
state pharmaceutical assistance. In
addition, information was collected
from the computerized system of
municipal health. The collected data
were recorded in Excel spreadsheet and
analyzed statistically by using chisquare

analysis, it can be noticed that the most
lipid-lowering users of CEAF are
assisted by primary care, mostly elderly,
low education women have associated
comorbidities, participate in programs
provided by the care network making
use of other medicines of the Basic
Program for Pharmaceutical Assistance
(CBAF). Hence, the proposed study
shows that the SUS has increased access
to services and the promotion of health
to the studied population. However, it
can also see the need for integration
enters the services of specialized care
and primary care network to health in
order to ensure continuity of care.
