FOR A CROSSROADS METHODOLOGY AND THE CAMBONO RESEARCHER, REFLECTIONS FROM UMBANDA

Abstract

The article proposes to reflect on a decolonial methodology through art and spiritu-
ality as a refuge, as a way of fighting and resisting the erasure of collective and indi-
vidual memories, especially in the context of the crisis and trauma of Covid-19 in Bra-
zil and in the world. For this, we start from an experience that values the process and

the experiences that Umbanda's knowledge offers. From this perspective, the dimen-
sions of the humanitarian, personal, and psychic crisis in which we are inserted were

listed and generated in a proposal on the idea of a crossroads methodology and the
cambono researcher.
