“Eu cheguei agora nesta nova aldeia”:
poética e política na autodemarcação Tuxá de D’zorobabé
Abstract
Tuxá Indigenous people from Rodelas/BA has started in 2017 the autodemarcation of D’zorobabé, a historically territory dwelled by their ancestors. The formation of this new village upon a place Tuxá calls ancestral land stimulates new organizational ways of politics besides renewed ways of living the place. It also promotes innovative ways of talking about the dwelled place. By means of a poetic consideration of a toante, a musical verse from the ritual called toré, this paper will examine how people involved in autodemarcation rebuild their understanding of dwelling and territorial occupation, doing this by the performative power of the speech.
