Les échelles de bien-être de l’enfant: caractéristiques psychométriques de la version portugaise

Au Portugal, il y a un manque d'instruments validés pour l'évaluation des programmes de protection de l'enfance. La présente étude visait à valider et à explorer les caractéristiques psychométriques des échelles de protection de l'enfance, une mesure d'évaluation multidimensionnelle des situations potentielles de maltraitance et de négligence. L'instrument a été appliqué par 46 techniciens à 276 familles accompagnés de services de protection des mineurs en Algarve. Des mesures de l'efficacité et de la satisfaction parentales et la symptomatologie parentale ont également été recueillies. L'analyse factorielle exploratoire a détecté une solution à trois facteurs très identiques à la version originale, avec des niveaux élevés de cohérence interne. En termes de validité de construit, des corrélations significatives ont été trouvées dans la direction attendue. Les résultats trouvés confirment l'applicabilité de ces échelles, servant de guide pour l'évaluation et la prise de décision concernant les mesures de protection de l'enfance.
