Modelos de Risco na Psicologia do Desenvolvimento

Este artigo revê a literatura empírica de vanguarda sobre a natureza das condições de risco e as possíveis trajetórias
cronológicas dos efeitos de risco na infância e na adolescência, com implicações para os programas de prevenção psicossocial.
As pesquisas indicam que as condições de risco desenvolvimental tendem a ser multifatoriais e específicas ao organismo e ao
contexto, com variações graduadas entre distais, meio-proximais e proximais. Quatro modelos de trajetórias prospectivas são
apresentados, com base em pesquisas longitudinais recentes, a saber, os modelos da vulnerabilidade, da continuidade dos
primeiros efeitos, dos efeitos cumulativos e dos efeitos posteriores.
