LOCUS DE CONTROLE E SATISFAÇÃO CONJUGAL

Este artigo trata de dois estudos para testar a relação entre o locus de controle conjugal e a satisfação conjugal atual, passada e estimada para o futuro. No primeiro, 90 homens e 116 mulheres casados há pelo menos três anos responderam ao questionário contendo uma escala de locus de controle conjugal, diferentes medidas de satisfação conjugal e dados pessoais. Os resultados indicaram que a internalidade está relacionada a maior satisfação conjugal e a melhores avaliações do casamento no futuro. No segundo estudo, 62 casais, desde recém-casados até com 32 anos de casamento, responderam ao mesmo instrumento. Os resultados mostraram que a relação entre locus de controle conjugal e satisfação conjugal não se evidencia nos primeiros anos de casamento, mas ocorre somente após alguns anos de experiência conjugal
