CHARACTERIZATION OF LOGICAL FUNCTION FROM INDICES DETECTED BY HAMMER DRAWING BATTERY (HTP)
Abstract
Based on a survey of graphic signs and of the type of
response to HTP, we undertook this study to systematize significant
indices of organization potencial and intellectual elaboration and of the
evel of involvement with external reality detected through the evaluation
of the protocols of 10 psychiatric patients of both sexes treated at the
Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic of the University Hospital, Faculty of
Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, USP. The protocols were first evaluated and
systematized and the - characteristic indices were grouped in terms of
productivity, level of logical integration, and intellectual blockade and
disorganization. The systematization indicated different levels of
integration: the representation of caricature-like figures linked to
blockade; - bizarre figures and evasive responses to questions and/or a decrease in interpretation consciousness linked to intellectual
disorganization.
