Resumo

RESUMO - O número de divórcios tem aumentado em várias partes do mundo, e pesquisas desenvolvidas recentemente têm sugerido que a separação dos pais pode constituir um fator de stress que pode ter influências no desenvolvimento dos filhos. O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma revisão da literatura sobre as conseqüências do divórcio do casal para o ajustamento dos filhos. Os estudos foram divididos de acordo com a metodologia utilizada, a perspectiva teórica e os aspectos enfocados pelos autores.
