The work evaluated the use of silicon, AgroSilício and Sil-K, in the Plutella xylostella infestation and post-harvest of cabbage. There was no difference between treatments in the first planting in relation to the number of caterpillars, but in the second planting, the Sil-K was effective in reducing the infestation of P. xylostella. The use of silicon was efficient in preserving the fresh weight of the cabbage head and in stabilizing the pH of the cabbage.
