Museus como Pioneiros para a Sustentabilidade Ambiental

Abstract

This work, which falls in museology studies, aims to highlight this important subject area, to preserve the environment as heritage. We write about the relationship between museums and the environment and present some international documents that justify environmental concerns and their sustainability in the context of museology.We will refer to some types of Museums with regard to its architecture and design and show technical solutions available in the market for energy sources that we believe are most appropriate to use in museum buildings.
