Interaction in virtual classrooms: the event settings and the social role

This paper revolves around the text produced in the context of interaction through virtual classrooms, conceived as a result of a collaborative work among those who are engaged in the process. It aims to comprehend in what way does the interpersonal relationships of the subjects are built in the produced text and are marked by the linguistic choices and arrangements. Therefore, the concepts of event settings and social role are fundamental. The study is based on classes of Reading and Text Production in the category of part time attendance in bachelors degree courses and leans on the principles of Interactional Linguistic
