In this paper we approach the sociological concept of agency, developing the notion of agency in a critical discursive perspective, from the theoretical assumptions of the morphogenetic approach (ARCHER, 1995, 1996, 2003, 2004, 2012). To understand how agencies emerge and intensify in social practices, we consider a situated socio-educational action, the Inspiring Women Program (IWP), observing the experiences of EM students. The analyzes of the empirical data fall on the representational and identificational meanings of the speeches articulated by the students about the formative experiences (FAIRCLOUGH, 2003, 2016). In order to make critical discursive analyzes operational, we used the lexical selection category. The analyzed speeches point to the emergence and intensification of epistemic, political and identity agencies.
