A Babel suspeita de Nelson de Oliveira

As fotomontagens realizadas pela artista plástica Tereza Yamashita, inseridas na antologia Babel Babilônia, de Nelson de Oliveira, publicada em 2007, sugerem a presença de um enredo iconográfi co que, concomitantemente aos dispositivos paratextuais e ao conjunto das narrativas aqui presentes, vêm apoiar uma refl exão acerca da crise de valores que atravessa nossa sociedade. Estas criam um efeito de redundância que, para além de assegurar a legibilidade discursiva, aponta para a emergência de uma voz autoral compromissada que nos leva a nos interrogarsobre as funções e os limites das relações semântico-pragmáticas existentes entre texto, imagem, intertexto e arquitexto.
