This work aims at thinking sexual difference as a radical ontological difference, in the line of a neorealist and material feminist philosophy. From this point of view, sexual difference designates the vital energy constitutive of all human action and dimension: its negative limit as well as its creative potential, its differing as well as its relational unity. Under such assumptions, I will try to show how and why the elimination of sexual difference and its substitution by a transgender neutralization, currently proposed by postmodern constructivism and relativism in alliance with the neoliberal production machinery, implies the erasure of the finite and relational human condition.
