Aspectos da ficção contemporânea na pós-modernidade: uma leitura do conto “o monstro”, de Sérgio Sant’Anna O presente ensaio se propõe a analisar as características da literatura contemporânea numa condição dita pós-moderna, em especial, o entrecruzamento das linguagens, buscando pensar como a condição de pósmodernidade se reflete na escrita literária atual, que reproduz, muitas vezes, o discurso da mídia, a partir de uma estética do simulacro, na qual a distinção entre o real e o ficcional já não é mais possível. Tomo como objeto de análise o conto “O monstro”, de Sérgio Sant’Anna, que apresenta uma fusão da linguagem literária com a linguagem jornalística da mídia impressa. Aspects of the contemporary fiction in the post-modernity: a reading of the short-story “o monstro”, by Sérgio Sant’Anna The aim of this article is to analyze the characteristics of the contemporary literature in a condition called post-modern, in special, the crossing of the languages, searching to think how the condition of post-modernity reflects in the current literary writing, which reproduces, very often, the speech of the media, from an aesthetics of the simulacrum, in which the distinction between the reality and the fictional is already not more possible. The story “The monster”, by Sérgio Sant’Anna, that presents a fusion of the literary language with the journalistic language of the printed media, is taken here as the object of analysis.
