Abstract

The current information overload, the scenario of scarce resources for ST&I and the legal and socioeconomic context of Brazil motivated the use of a methodological procedure of analysis and organization of information. Through this method it was possible to define priority themes that translate into issues that highlight the attention and interest of managers and scientists, as well as in strategic technological and economic activities for Brazil, in the scope of biotechnology and genetics. The procedure of information analysis and organization consisted in the use of the Triple Helix model for the collection of information, in the carrying out of group dynamics, in the use of the GUT Matrix and in the achievement of institutional Seminars for analysis, treatment, prioritization and organization of information. The use of this procedure with relevant and quality information from formal sources helped in improving the strategic decisions in institutions and for the structure and elaboration of new actions in the field of ST&I.

Graduada em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1999) com pós-graduação em Microbiologia (Mestrado na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais -2001) e em Ciências: Oncologia (Doutorado pela Fundação Antônio Prudente - 2005). Estágio de pós-doutorado realizado na Faculdade de Medicina da UFMG (2005-2006) e na Fundação Oswaldo Cruz-Centro de Pesquisas René Rachou (2006-2012). A atuação e experiência em pesquisa científica concentrou-se na biologia, diagnóstico, terapêutica, suscetibilidade e resistência à doenças infecto-parasitárias e no estudo molecular do câncer. Desde 2012 atua como Analista em Ciência e Tecnologia no CNPq.

Carlos Alberto Pittaluga Niederauer, Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico CNPq, Brasília, DF, Brasil

Graduado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade de Brasília (1984), com mestrado (1998) e doutorado (2002) em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Atualmente é analista em C&T do CNPq. É membro titular do Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia, Inovações e Comunicações no Conselho de Gestão do Patrimônio Genético/MMA. Tem experiência em gestão de C&T, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: avaliação de C&T, avaliação de pesquisadores, medição de desempenho e análise por envoltória de dados.
