Ubiquity is the virtual presence in many places concomitantly and is closely linked to the contemporary phenomena of access and use of information. The objective this bibliographic research is show the ubiquitous nature of information and explore the consequences of ubiquity in users. The methodological procedures adopted are the search for articles from the Social Sciences area in bases Brapci, Scopus and Google Academic, with the term ubiquity in text, without temporal restrictions. The results show that ubiquity is not a new topic in Information Science, although little discussed. It becomes evident that the user is transformed and load the weight of ubiquity in many ways. The conclusions are the goals of exploring the topic about ubiquity under look of Information Science has been achieved, but that many other studies are needed with others methods to fully understand the ubiquity phenomenon and its impacts on the new mobile user.
