Abstract

This article explores, analyses and shares the principles and procedures used for composition of sound alchemy performed by the Cantos de Gaia group, in the context of sound meditation for women. The focus of the research is on poetics and sound in the composition of scenes that have the five elements of nature as their thematic axis. This specific approach in musical composition focuses on both vocal action and sound action as vibratory language. The main research question is: what are the relationships between sound, frequency, body and consciousness? Through a bibliographic review of the area of healing sounds and the practical experiences of the sound journey, we studied meditation in conjunction with awareness expansion, integrating art and health.
