Paternidade e Parentalidade no Contexto dos Transtornos Alimentares: : Revisão Integrativa da Literatura

Resumo

Relações familiares parecem ter uma contribuição relevante na etiopatogenia dos transtornos alimentares (TAs). Este estudo teve por objetivo analisar a produção científica sobre as vivências de paternidade e parentalidade de pais cujas filhas desenvolveram TAs. O levantamento bibliográfico foi realizado a partir das bases LILACS, PubMed, PsycINFO, Web of Science e EMBASE, no período 1999-2019. Dos 878 estudos recuperados nas buscas, 23 foram selecionados para análise. Os resultados evidenciam que as vivências de paternidade/parentalidade são influenciadas pela personalidade paterna. A representação dominante é de um pai pouco afetuoso e desprovido de empatia, punitivo e insensível às necessidades emocionais das filhas. Conhecer as vivências paternas é fundamental para subsidiar um cuidado sensível às demandas das filhas, assim como às dos pais.
