O Representacional e o Expressivo: Duas Funções da Linguagem Interior

O presente estudo teve como objetivo explorar as funções da linguagem interior e sua expressão em gestos. Dois estudantes universitários foram convidados a ouvir música instrumental e, em seguida, relatar seus pensamentos internos em uma entrevista retrospectiva assistida por vídeo. Os resultados mostram duas funções da linguagem interna: representativa e expressiva. A função representacional está relacionada a uma linguagem denotativa, conceitual e sequencial. Por outro lado, a função expressiva diz respeito a uma linguagem viva, afetiva, difusa e imagística. O presente trabalho contribui para os estudos da consciência humana e enfatiza a importância de incluir o estudo dos gestos na compreensão da experiência humana.
