Abstract

A psychoanalysis does not develop as a continuous
process toward the truth. Repetition manifests a trace that allows the
analysee to tecognize him/herself in the difference. However, there is an
exclusion of the subject in his/her constant trial to construct an identifying
whole. Through the analyst's position, the analysee performs a reckoning
that removes him/herself from this paradox and guides him/ herself
toward desire. Thus, only from this moment at which analysis comes to an
end and a desiring subject emerges, can one demonstrate the operativity
proper to psychoanalytical discourse.
