MOTHER-INFANT RELATIONSHIP:
ONTHOGENESIS OF MAN'S SOCIAL NATURE
Abstract
The social predispositions of neonates are analysed
within a systemic framework, where development results from a
long-range process of adaptation to experience. The construction
of efficient systems of communication, generated from motherinfant
interaction, is seen as an important issue concerning the
onthogenesis of social behavior. By trying to conceive the "best" or
more "natural" way for nurturing children, it's necessay to think
oversomepraticalconsequencesof adopting such a developmental
approach.
