Abstract

The article discusses the relationships between myths,
secrets, and rites in the interaction of a family in psychotherapy from a
inter-generation perspective. The notions of debt, merit, delegations,
and missions, together with the denial of death, the rise of the myth of
the hero, and hidden loyalty as perceived in three sucessive generations,
are also analyzed.
