CAMINHOS E DESCAMINHOS DA PSICOLOGIA SOCIAL
Resumo
Neste artigo é abordada a dificuldade histórica enfrentada pela psicologia social de encontrar um caminho para atingir seu objetivo: a integração indivíduo-sociedade. Tenta-se mostrar que este objetivo já fazia parte do plano global de Wundt para a psicologia que, por diversas razões, privilegiou o estudo do indivíduo em detrimento do social. Esta orientação geral, que influenciou o desenvolvimento da psicologia social, é responsável pelas críticas dirigidas à disciplina. A reação a este estado de coisas é representada pela psicologia social "sociológica", que recupera muito da proposta original de Wundt.
