Abstract

The issue of religious diversity has been discussed according to some viewpoints and between them the attitude for deal with this issue represents a challenge for scholars of philosophy of religion. In this paper are discussed possibles alternatives for believers of the main socially established religions to deal with the massive contradictions found in the various descriptions of the ultimate reality and of the right way to full human realization. Starting with alternatives discussed in the Alston’s Perceiving God we tried verifying the best alternative between them, as a response to religious diversity. In conclusion, the suggested alternative by Alston, based on epistemic conservativism, seems being the alternative most suitable.
