Um percurso
o caso “por qué no te callas?”
Keywords:
discoursive formation. positioning. course. why don Ìt you shup up?Abstract
This article presents some concepts proposed by Maingueneau (2006), with emphasis on that of the course, and analyzes the event why don´t you shut up? especially that which refers to its circulation and interpretation. As to the second aspect, two facts stand out: that which was appropriate for both followers of the same point of view (positioning?), starting from that which was originally proferred, and their adversaries; and that which was uttered also without political conotations to attempt to quiet one who speaks too much or out of context.
