This work proposes to adopt the word – je’ẽha – as an entry in the entries of the Ka’apór-Portuguese Bilingual Dictionary, the doctoral thesis of the present author and defended in 2009. The Ka’apór language was classified by Rodrigues (1985) as belonging to Branch VIII of the Tupí-Guaraní Family and throughout its history has undergone grammatical simplifications. The criterion for adopting the ‘word’ in the lemmas considers both the visibility of the lexeme in the structure of the lexicon and the grammar through morphosyntactic information in the forms of nouns, verbs, and postpositions arranged in the microstructure of this lexicographical work. The theoretical basis of Haensch, G. et al. (1982) and Zgusta (1971) recommend a dictionary model capable of reconciling the identification of the Ka’apór language through words with the characterization of grammatical attributes and diversity in forms and their functions in the communicative role of Ka’apór, arranged in the dictionary through grammatical indication and thematic class, examples, subentries, notes and cross-references.
