In this paper I focus on my research, carried out from the perspective of experimental phonetics, on the accent system in Manxineru, a language belonging to the Aruák family. As a tool for data verification, I used the Praat program for data measurement and analysis, which were tabulated, thus generating material for graphic configuration production that allowed us to conclude that in Manxineru language, pitch is not the most important acoustic correlate for definition of main accent in the language, but the time.
