As interações interespecíficas no filme O pagador de promessas
Abstract
This work is an integral part of the master's dissertation entitled “The Discourse of Religious Intolerance in the film “The Promise Payer” from the Perspective of Ecological Discourse Analysis” (2018). The research focuses on the disharmonic interspecific interactions that result from religious intolerance in the film. The Promise Payer movie that portrays the story of Zé do Burro (Jo of the Donkey), a simple man who makes a promise to Santa Barbara to carry a cross as heavy as Jesus' if the saint heals his pet donkey. Thus, the general objective of the present research is to demonstrate how religious intolerance leads to suffering in its natural, mental and social spheres and how the film is representative in relation to it.
