Abstract

The war against the Gaza Strip, which began in 2023, has been in the spotlight around the world. The violent Israeli offensives against the Palestinian civilian population have generated great concern, as well as the international community’s difficulty in dealing with the ongoing situation in the country. In this current scenario, many changes have been observed in the local Palestinian daily life, drastically affecting the lives of people residing not only in the Gaza Strip but also in other parts of Palestine. In this text, I will aim to present some of the most important changes in the West Bank, where I have resided for a total of four years – for conducting my academic research and my activities as a music teacher at a local conservatory.
