Crimen pasional. Su mención suscita de inmediato imágenes vividas y con frecuencia la invocación de algún caso conocido. Alguno que nos conmovió o nos aterró por lo cercano, alguno que nos dejó inquietos o estremecidos. Es decir, esta es una categoría del sentido común de uso familiar en nuestro lenguaje ordinario, empleada para designar una gama variada de homicidios acontecidas entre parejas ¿Qué tipo de categoría es esta? ¿A qué mundo de relaciones y significados pertenece? ¿Cuáles son los contextos sociales en que es empleada esa denominación y con qué consecuencias? ¿De qué manera intervienen allí emociones, miedo, odio y amor? Para intentar responder estos interrogantes acudo en este texto a un caso de crimen pasional donde el homicida me narra, en forma de diálogo, sus sentimientos y pensamientos en torno al crimen.
