O desenvolvimento das políticas de asilo na Grécia: aspectos políticos internacionais e gestão dos fluxos populacionais

Resumo

Este artigo avalia criticamente as políticas de acolhimento dos requerentes de asilo na Grécia. Examinaremos a ação de organizações internacionais/intergovernamentais que empreenderam a gestão de fluxos de refugiados no primeiro período do pós-guerra e as características da política de imigração da União Europeia (UE). Parte-se da premissa de que a maneira como os refugiados são gerenciados pela eu, ao longo do tempo, não contribui para a integração social deles; pelo contrário, as condições inadequadas de acolhimento servem para repeli-los e dissuadi-los do território europeu. As políticas de acolhimento implementadas na Grécia são exemplos dessas orientações e objetivos.
