The WTO and the challenges of the multilateral trade system

Abstract

This special issue of Meridiano 47 is intended as a useful analytical contribution to the knowledge and understanding of the functioning of the multilateral trading system and to Brazil's participation in the various stages of its existence and institutional improvement. The intention is that this volume represents a contribution to a broader effort to learn about this history and its role in the process of insertion of Brazil into the world economy.
