Peer Review
All contributions will be submitted to academic evaluation by at least two reviewers, using the double-blind peer review system. Publications will always be supported by the recommendations of the Editorial Board and by the reviewers' reports received concerning them.
Submissions are reviewed on the following criteria:
- Adherence to the editorial policy of the journal;
- The relevance of the subject and of the approach presented;
- Quality of research (analysis, interpretation, design);
- Advancement in the state of art (originality, arguments, methods, results);
- Quality of writing (organization, clarity, style).
The process of editorial review can be extended for up to 90 days. The editorial review of all submitted manuscripts occurs in three steps:
- All contributions will be reviewed by the Editors Committee, which preliminarily decides on the adherence of the article to the editorial policy of the vehicle and verifies the consistency and preliminary correction on acceptable terms of writing;
- The work approved in the first stage may be submitted to plagiarism detection mechanism. This necessarily involves identifying manuscript excerpts that have been published, albeit in a modified form;
- The contributions approved in the second step will be submitted to peer review in a double-blind process. The arbitration may recommend full acceptance, acceptance with modifications or rejection of the manuscript. In the case of refusal, the manuscript can not be resubmitted even after modifications.
