This article is an integral part of the master's dissertation entitled: “Insecure Territory: Practices for a Relational Singing in the Actor's Vocal Training”. It is a pedagogical approach on how the singing voice can generate a possible transformation of the subject who sings or who feels blocked to sing. It is also reflected on how such a practice can help the actor in training to overcome possible imprisonments derived from virtuous aspects of singing, through a dialogue between the experiences practiced in the research and extension group Casa Aberta of the Federal University of São João del Rei., in dialogue with the studies of Jorge Larrosa Bondía and Cassiano Quilici.
