This article is about the first steps of the research on the methodology developed by Angela Herz, during her more than 30 years of practice on voice. The text includes notes on Alexander Lowen's Bioenergetics and Thérèse Bertherat's Antigymnastics, which inspired Herz at the beginning of her research trajectory. Some fundamentals of the Herz Method are presented, in an introductory way, which is based on the perception and mobilization of the vital energies of the body.
