Abstract

The starting point of this paper consists in verifying the “failure”
of the Social Sciences in the post-modernity era. The author, at first,
analyses the possible causes of the “loss of sense of the Social Sciences”
and points out the growth of the space of private life, the emptvness
of the subjetct, the invasion of the universe through increasing
appearance and, finally, the frustrated clain of the unique legitimate
knowledge about Humanity. Without having any relevant messages the
Social Sciences risk to disappear. Facing the possibility of neglecting
the ideal of truth the author opts for seeking another paradigma, in
which the notions of interest, reason, individual and evolution aren’t
considered as acquired and definitive trhth but above as problematic
subjects. No doubt that it’s a less pretencious paradigma but with bigger
chances to survive the new era.
