Medidas de resultado informadas por el paciente en atención primaria de salud

Resumen

Las medidas de resultados informados por el paciente (PROM) brindan la vision del paciente sobre su calidade de vida, funcionalidad, sintomatologia y satisfaccion com la atencion medica. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo identificar los PROM asociados a la realidad de la atención primaria de salud y comprender sus posibles beneficios en la práctica clínica. Se realizó una revisión integrativa de la literatura según la metodología PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Results), en las bases de datos PubMed, NICE Guidelines Finder, The Cochrane Library, utilizando los términos MeSH patients Reported Results Measures y Primary Health Care.

Esta revisión integradora siguió las recomendaciones metodológicas de los autores Mendes, Silveira y Galvão. Después de leer y analizar la investigación incluida en la revisión, se observó que en Portugal hay una falta de investigación sobre los PROM en la atención primaria de salud. Los PROMs podrían ser una ventaja si se basa en la mejor y más actual evidencia disponible a promover la atención centrada em el paciente y mejorar la calidad de la atención brindada en la atención primaria de salud.
