About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Journal Management and Health, is an online journal, linked to the Centers of Studies in Education, Health Promotion and Inclusive Projects and Group of Studies in Management of Public Services, and sponsored by the Universidade de Brasília (UnB).
It is a four-monthly, peer-reviewed journal with the objective of publishing original and unpublished articles that represent a significant advance of scientific production in the area of ”‹”‹Health Management, Health Services Management and Nursing Services Management.
The focus of the Journal Management and Health is to seek the integration of the academic area of ”‹”‹public administration with other areas of knowledge such as Health Management, Health Services Management and Nursing Services Management, including the organizational practices and public policies of these areas. The Electronic Journal Management and Health is divided into two sections: management of health services and management of nursing services, both within private management and within the scope of public management.
The purpose of the Journal Management and Health is to contribute to the dissemination and advancement of knowledge in the field of Public Administration, specifically in the areas of health management, health policies and public health policies. This dissemination aims to stimulate discussion of public problems and inspire innovative solutions to address such problems.
The Editorial Policy Committee and the Scientific Editorial Board are composed of professors and researchers from Brazil and abroad who dedicate an important part of their experience to it.
The manuscripts may be submitted in Portuguese, English and Spanish, and should be exclusively addressed to Journal Management and Health. Its is forbidden the simultaneous submission of the paper to another journal, (text, figures and/or tables), in whole or in part, with the exception of abstracts or preliminary reports published in scientific meetings (congresses, conferences). The journal does not charge a fee for manuscript submission.

Free Access Policy
This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that providing free scientific knowledge to the public provides greater global democratization of knowledge.
Archiving
This magazine uses the system LOCKSS to create a distributed file system between participating libraries which allows them to create permanent journal files for preservation and restoration.

Time for evaluation: 60 days.
Time for publication: 120 days.
Date of publication: Last day of the months - April, August and December.

Spelling and Grammar Review:
Our journal has a specialized team for the realization of these revisions. The articles that are accepted and selected for publication must be submitted to a spelling and grammatical revision by the referees indicated by the journal.
