Enfrentamento do Câncer Infantil e Intervenções Psicológicas: Uma Revisão da Literatura

Resumo

O presente estudo consiste em uma revisão integrativa de pesquisas que investigaram o enfrentamento ao câncer infantil, com destaque para propostas de intervenção visando o seu favorecimento. Realizou-se uma busca bibliográfica nas bases de dados Web of Science, PubMed e PsychNet. Foram selecionados 80 artigos que atenderam aos critérios gerais de inclusão e 22 estudos tendo como foco específico propostas de intervenção. Os estudos selecionados avaliaram os resultados das intervenções realizadas ou a intervenção em si, discutindo aspectos particulares das mesmas e avaliando sua viabilidade. Todos os estudos qualificaram a intervenção proposta como viável, sendo que em sua maioria relataram benefícios aos participantes, o que destaca a relevância das iniciativas.

Joana Lezan Sant´anna, Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro

Psicóloga formada pela UFF, mestre e doutoranda pela UERJ, trabalha no Inca desde outubro de 2010. Interesse em Psicologia do Desenvolvimento e Psicologia Hospitalar

Deise Maria Fernandes Mendes, Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro

Doutora em Psicologia Social pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2008), é graduada em Psicologia pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1980) e em Tecnologia da Informação pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (1984), e possui mestrado em Psicologia Social pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2004). Fez pós-doutorado na Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, investigando interações e trocas emocionais entre mães e bebês, e crenças parentais. Atualmente é professor adjunto na Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, coordenadora do Grupo de Pesquisa Desenvolvimento Socioemocional e Parentalidade e coordenadora-adjunta do Grupo de Pesquisa Interação Social e Desenvolvimento, ambos do Diretório de Grupos de Pesquisa do CNPq, e Jovem Cientista do Nosso Estado (FAPERJ). É membro do Grupo de Trabalho da ANPEPP "Parentalidade e desenvolvimento infantil em diferentes contextos", e membro associado à International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development. Atua na área de Psicologia, com ênfase em Psicologia do Desenvolvimento Humano, trabalhando principalmente com os seguintes temas: desenvolvimento socioemocional, capacidades emocionais, interação pais-bebê/criança, parentalidade, comportamentos prossociais.
