Weaving black narratives: cinema, memory, and creation with Mariana Jaspe

This text is the result of an interview conducted by students members of PET-SOL UnB, in a dialogue to better understand Mariana Jaspe's perspective on the construction of Brazilian cinema, its creative process and its references. Mariana Jaspe is a black woman, Soteropolitan, director and screenwriter at TV Globo. An "audiovisual worker", as she calls herself. From his personal trajectory we can better understand some issues that permeate national cinema.
