O FENÔMENO RELIGIOSO EM FRIEDRICH VON HARDENBERG (NOVALIS) E SØREN KIERKEGAARD

Resumo

Considerando a relação ainda pouco conhecida entre Søren Kierkegaard (1813-1855) e Friedrich von Hardenberg (Novalis) (1772-1801), o objetivo deste artigo é pensar o horizonte da religião enquanto problema filosófico. A hipótese a ser argumentada aqui é que o pensador dinamarquês conheceu e, em alguma medida, retomou a reflexão do filósofo alemão, ora para se juntar a ele, ora para se posicionar na contramão de suas perspectivas. O artigo contribui tanto para se pensar a relação entre Kierkegaard e Novalis, quanto para abordar um pano de fundo que trata da filosofia da religião, na medida em que perpassa as discussões de ambos sobre o lugar do sagrado na experiência prática. No caso de von Hardenberg, a contribuição se dá tanto nesse sentido quanto em um aspecto metodológico, uma vez que envolve a consulta a material pouco estudado de sua obra, a saber: seus textos sobre religião escritos entre 1788-1790, algumas de suas cartas e diários

Biografia do Autor

Gabriel Almeida Assumpção, FAJE/UFOP

Doutor em Filosofia pela UFMG (2020). Mestre em Filosofia pela UFMG (2015), Licenciado em Filosofia pelo Centro Universitário Internacional UNINTER (2019) e Bacharel em Psicologia pela UFMG (2010). Professor Assistente 1 e pesquisador na Faculdade Jesuíta de Filosofia e Teologia (FAJE). Professor Colaborador credenciado no POSDEFIL da UFOP. Trabalha especialmente com Friedrich W. J. von Schelling (filosofia da natureza, gênio, pintura e mímesis), Friedrich von Hardenberg [Novalis] (panenteísmo, filosofia da natureza, poesia e sincriticismo), Immanuel Kant (gênio, postulados da razão prática pura, teleologia), Vittorio Hösle (estética, idealismo objetivo, natureza), Henrique Cláudio de Lima Vaz (Filosofia da natureza, categoria de objetividade, interpretação de Immanuel Kant). Traduziu as seguintes obras filosóficas do alemão para o português: 'Dedução geral do processo dinâmico' (1800), de F. W. J. Schelling; 'Filosofia da crise ecológica: conferências moscovitas' (1991), de Vittorio Hösle. É membro dos grupos de pesquisa Mito e Modernidade, da FALE-UFMG, e Edição da obra filosófica de Henrique de Lima Vaz, da FAJE. 

Jean dos Santos Vargas, UFMG

Doutor em filosofia pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2021). Possui mestrado em Filosofia pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2015) e bacharelado em filosofia pela mesma instituição (2011). Possui também licenciatura em filosofia pela faculdade Claretiano (2019). Se interessa pelos seguintes temas: Kierkegaard, ética, Romantismo alemão, filosofia da literatura, filosofia da religião e niilismo.
