This article aims to analyze the anthropological critique
of religion in Ludwig Feuerbach, demonstrating how, beyond a
merely atheistic position, his interpretation leads to a positive
reading of human sensitivity intrinsically revealed in religions in
general. The article is divided into three parts. In the first part, we
attempt to reconstruct the theoretical foundation of Feuerbach's
critique/unveiling of religious alienation: the theories of human
consciousness and essence will allow him to demonstrate the
human truth of God and religion. In the second part, we will address
another response given by Feuerbach on the origin of religion,
showing its emergence from an affective nucleus closely linked to
life. Finally, in the third part, we will show how those three generic
forces (reason, will, and heart) discovered in the anthropological
critique of religion show the way from God in himself to God for
us - which will also signify the passage from rationality to
sensitivity through the unveiling of various religious mysteries in a
sensitive anthropology expressed in Christian religion.
