Abstract

The purpose of this article is to investigate, make the philosophical point of view, especially to make paganism (paganus in Latin) especially from its selection with Christianity and how the concept will still be important and not in the critique of Kierkegaard in the nineteenth century. In Danish it is called hedenskab. Why, then, does the idea of ”‹”‹paganism in Kierekgaard's work seem important to us? No one understands, two of them stand out: 1) It is an important term in all the work of the author and that makes the energy, that is, is present at the beginning to the end of its production; 2) It is important in the philosophical context of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, notably among post-Hegelian authors like Feuerbach, Nietzsche, Overbeck, Burckhardt and others. In our view, Kierkegaar is inserted between them. In order to achieve the goal of the project of Paganism in fragments of five Kierkegaardian works, to know, the Concept of Anxiety authored by the pseudonymic Vigilius Haufniensis, Philosophical Fragments and Concluding Unscientific Postscript, both authored by the pseudonym Johannes Climactic and Sickness unto Death and Pratice in Christianity, both of the pseudonymic Anti-Climactic.
