Through his biographic path, Martin Heidegger has lived
both the entrenchment in the Christian movement and
the crisis of historic Christianity. His task of developing
a historical thinking of being can be comprehended as
the need of thinking critically the relationship between
Christianity and the agency of power in its many realizations.
One may recognize a correspondence between the
structure of original Christian faith and the structure of
the history thinking of being.
