About the Journal
The Brazilian Journal for Philosophy of Religion is published by a joined effort of the Brazilian Association for Philosophy of Religion (BAPR) and the Work Group in Philosophy of Religion at the National Association of Philosophy Graduate Programs (ANPOF), with the support of the University of Brasilia philosophy graduate program (PPG-FIL/UnB). The Journal aims to publish philosophy texts - written either in systematic form or based on the history of ideas - about the religious phenomenon or the issues related to the concept and reality of God. Its subjects may include questions such as transcendence, freedom, evil, rationality of religious belief, presence of faith in the public sphere, atheism, relationship between science and religion, art and spirituality, among others. The Journal is characterized by a pluralistic approach in methods of reflection (phenomenological, analytic, historic, dialectical, hermeneutical, etc.) and critical stance, fomenting a fruitful dialogue among the different philosophical perspectives about religion.
