Abstract

This work has the objective to present a method for the definition of business strategies, starting from the articulation of a competitive intelligence systematics with the creation of internal knowledge nets, that work to increase the effectiveness of the strategic planning processes. The adopted methodology contemplated: 1) bibliographical revision in several Strategic Planning and Competitive Intelligence schools; 2) studies about the conceptual interfaces between Strategic Planning, Competitive Intelligence and Knowledge Management; 3) characterization of the application context - a organization of professional education in Brazil; 4) proposition of a systematic for the definition of business strategies to improve business in companies from the textile productive chain. The pilot experience, still in course, uses the competitive intelligence and knowledge nets for the definition of business strategies in a Brazilian company of professional education.
