Homosexual family, between affection and social disaffection: a bioethical issue

This research aimed to describe how discriminatory practices occur against couples with homoaffective family configuration and, from a bioethical perspective, reflect on the moral issues present in this context. The method used is qualitative, field and exploratory. Used a questionnaire to conduct interviews, using a semi-structured script. To identify the couples, we used the Snowball technique,
known in Brazil as snowball sampling, which uses key informants, which culminated in four homosexual families. The results showed the presence of prejudice, exclusion, violence. and rights denied due to breach of the normative standard in force in society, and that the family is in a situation of moral vulnerability.
