Abstract

The present article investigates how Gottlieb Fichte, in the first paragraphs of the Doctrine of Scientific Knowledge, reinterprets and offers some new and original senses to the quality’s categories of Immanuel Kant’s Philosophy. The questions that guide the investigation are two: (i) What are the categories and how should we understand them in the Doctrine of Scientific Knowledge? (ii) Is it possible to understand the Doctrine of Scientific Knowledge’s categories in the same sense as they are in Kant’s Philosophy? Explain the reinterpretation which Fichte makes of the categories is important and justified, especially, based on the fact that the quality’s categories are presented throught the first chapters of the book, what is significative, since these chapters are related with the most fundamental elements of the fichtean epistemological project.

Arthur Neves, Universidade Federal de Goiás

Mestrando do programa de Pós-graduação em Filosofia pela Universidade Federal de Goiás. Foi participante e bolsista (PIBIC/CNPq) do programa de Iniciação Científica da UFG entre os anos 2017-2018. Membro do Núcleo de Pesquisas Nietzsche (UFG). É bolsista da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). Membro do corpo editorial da Revista Philósophos (UFG) e da Revista Inquietude (UFG). Possui interesse em filosofia moderna e contemporânea, com ênfase no pensamento de Friedrich Nietzsche, Immanuel Kant e filósofos neokantianos como Friedrich Lange, Afrikan Spir e Kuno Fischer. Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: Teoria do conhecimento, filosofia alemã e filosofia transcendental.
