n this paper, I present the research on male and female speech that was carried out at Tapi'itãwa Village, Urubu Branco Indigenous Land, Confresa-MT. Currently the population is approximately 1,000 people, distributed in seven villages: Tapi'itãwa, Myryxitãwa and Tapiparanytãwa that belong to the Confresa-MT municipality, Towajaatãwa, Wiriaotãwa and Inataotãwa, which comprise the municipality of Porto Alegre do Norte-MT and Akara ' ytãwa, belonging to the municipality of Santa Terezinha-MT. I have been concerned with male and female speech, because I see that many young women are not using female speech as it was before, being replaced by men's speech, such as: Ari (speaking of man), a'i (speaking of woman). My biggest goal is to turn some women's lines back to their own, not to talk about men anymore. It is important to explain that my Apywa people have some differences between male and female speech, and this is the fundamental part that I will describe in my research: the difference in speech between Apywa men and Apyãwa women. In this way, I will be deepening the my study, specifically, regarding the speech of men and women, an important basis for each sex, in the daily use.
